April is about tech and healthcare, as we'll be sharing insights into patients data, medical image processing and what are the best metrics and specific biases for machine learning models in medicine. More, we'll go through some relevant particularities of the domain knowledge in medical AI and the approach for developing AI projects using public medical datasets.

Iolanda, our speaker for April is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Computer Science from Iasi, currently working as a gastroenterology specialist and as a business analyst at Greensoft. She recently finished a PhD program for which she used both her medical and computer science knowledge to build several machine learning models for the non-invasive prediction of disease activity in inflammatory bowel diseases.
