The topic for April will be #MedTech, where we’ll learn about algorithms that can enable the detection and prediction of epileptic seizures based on the activity of the brain, using CNN and RNN and take a sneak peek on how old-fashioned medical devices look like and state-of-the-art bionic arms and exoskeletons.

Our speaker, Erich Zimmermann, Computer Science student and Research Intern at the University of Southampton will share insights on the integration of AI in the use of medical technologies and how algorithms and available frameworks will enhance all medical devices and help our society towards a better and safer future.
